Formerly the 'little church in the field', Gorgie Mem Hall is located in a traditional tenement area with a strong community identity. Gorgie and neighbouring Dalry is a bustling area with many small shops and facilities including Gorgie City Farm and Heart of Midlothian FC's Tynecastle Park. Nearby the Centre is Rugby's Murrayfield Stadium and the large leisure complex at Fountain Park.
